Jeffrey Chung-ho Chan graduated from the Hong Kong Baptist University and the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, with a Diploma of Music and a Bachelor of Music degree respectively, under the tutelage of Jennifer To and Michael Campbell. He is currently pursuing a Master of Music student at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts in America, studying under world renowned saxophonist Taimur Sullivan.
While studying at the academy, Jeffrey was often invited to perform with professional orchestras in Hong Kong, namely the Hong Kong Philharmonic, the Hong Kong Sinfonietta and the Hong Kong Wind Philharmonic Orchestra. He has performed as a soloist with the Hong Kong Symphonic Winds in 2009. Jeffrey has also appeared in Jade Singers Celebrate TVB Anniversary in 2010.
Jeffrey has participated in major saxophone events, such as the World Saxophone Congress, North America Saxophone Alliance Conference, Navy Band Saxophone Symposium, the Hamamatsu Wind Academy and Hong Kong International Saxophone Symposim. He has also taken part in a number of saxophone master classes by respected saxophonists: Claude Delangle, Eugene Rousseau, Jean-Yves Fourmeau, Otis Murphy, Kenneth Tse, etc.
